Multi-temporal Interferometric Point Target Analysis

چکیده
Interferometric Point Target Analysis (IPTA) is a method to exploit the temporal and spatial characteristics of interferometric signatures collected from point targets to accurately map surface deformation histories, terrain heights, and relative atmospheric path delays. In this contribution the IPTA methodology is presented. Furthermore, based on examples, its applicability for stacks of ERS and JERS SAR data

Tree Height Estimation from Multi-temporal Ers Sar Interferometric Phase
Multi-temporal sets of ERS-1/2 SAR interferometric (InSAR) phase have been evaluated at several test sites in Europe for tree height estimation. Atmospheric artefacts affected a large number of image pairs. These were generally well compensated in case of large-scale artefacts over small forests, whereas for large forests their effect could only be assessed. Hence, the amount of pairs utilizabl...
متن کاملDeformation Trend Extraction Based on Multi-Temporal InSAR in Shanghai
Shanghai is a modern metropolis characterized by high urban density and anthropogenic ground motions. Although traditional deformation monitoring methods, such as GPS and spirit leveling, are reliable to millimeter accuracy, the sparse point subsidence information makes understanding large areas difficult. Multiple temporal space-borne synthetic aperture radar interferometry is a powerful high-...
متن کاملMethods and performances for multi-pass SAR Interferometry
Thanks to the several space missions accomplished since ERS-1, the scientific community has been provided with a huge amount of data suitable for interferometric processing. The innovation was the availability of multiple compatible images of the same areas. Such images, achieved by looking from slightly different point of view different orbits, and/or by different frequencies, and/or at differ...
متن کاملA Curvature Based Method for Combining Multi-temporal Sar Differential Interferometric Measurements
Considering multiple interferograms is a common practice in SAR differential interferometry. In fact, multitemporal SAR acquisitions are used for monitoring terrain displacements over a long period of time. Moreover, the use of multiple data sets can help reducing atmospheric artifacts in SAR interferometric measurements. Given a series of SAR acquisitions, when all the interferograms between c...
متن کاملCoherent Point Targe Analysis for Estimating Subsidence Velocity in Hong Kong with a Time Series of Envisat Asar Data
This paper presents a new time-series InSAR analysis approach, Coherent Point Target Analysis (CPTA), to accurately map surface subsidence. The approach focus on the selection and analysis of sparse coherent point targets which exhibit phase stability over a long period of time. By jointly exploiting temporal and spatial characteristics of the interferometric phases collected from coherent targ...
